Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the ECU Shop NZ website or placing an order. By accessing our website or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.

2. Products

ECU Shop NZ sells electronic throttle response controllers and automotive accessories designed for vehicle performance enhancement. All products are sold for legal road use unless otherwise stated. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure products are used in compliance with local laws and vehicle modifications regulations.

3. Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
  • Prices are GST inclusive (15% Goods and Services Tax)
  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice
  • Prices at the time of order confirmation are binding

4. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card — Visa and Mastercard, processed securely via our payment gateway
  • Afterpay — pay in 4 interest-free fortnightly instalments. Subject to Afterpay's own terms and eligibility criteria

All transactions are encrypted via SSL. We do not store credit card details on our servers.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • New Zealand: Free standard shipping on all orders
  • Australia & Pacific: 5 NZD flat rate shipping
  • Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days from dispatch (domestic NZ)
  • Delivery times may vary during peak periods or due to courier delays outside our control
  • Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping address provided

6. Product Warranty

  • All products sold by ECU Shop NZ come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty
  • The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
  • Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or modification
  • To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@ecushop.co.nz with proof of purchase
  • Your statutory rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected by this warranty

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including the ECU Shop NZ name, logo, product images, descriptions, and written content — is the intellectual property of ECU Shop NZ and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • ECU Shop NZ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the purchase price of the product(s) in question
  • We make no warranties beyond those required by New Zealand consumer law

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
